The Touring trim level, on the other hand, has cloth upholstery and does not come with heated seats. This level is considered to be more basic. However, the higher trim level of the 300 comes standard with leather upholstery and front seats that are power-adjustable for both the driver and front passenger.
The safety package continues to be quite unimpressive, with lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control both being offered as add-ons for the two most expensive model levels.

Although the 2024 Chrysler 300 has a low engine speed of just around 5,800 revolutions per minute (rpm), it had no trouble propelling the enormous sedan forward during our evaluation and produced a pleasant rumble when it was required to do so.
The huge V8 engine makes it simple to go around slower traffic and to get onto the highway. This is the engine that is best suited to the 300 since it quickly propels the sedan to the greatest allowed speed and beyond. The V6 engine performs well, although it may benefit from more effort while traveling at greater speeds. It supplies metropolitan areas with far more power than is required.

In the same test from 2015, a rear-driver equipped with a 5.7-liter V-8 engine with 5.3 seconds as its best time was a clear winner.
The handling of the Chrysler 300 is surprisingly good for a vehicle of its size. The steering isn’t the most communicative part of the car, but the body roll is effectively managed, and the chassis is happy to play as long as you don’t go too pushy with it.
The ride quality of the specific variant known as the 300S, which is characterized by a rather choppy nature due to its more rigid suspension and 20-inch wheels, is at odds with the near-luxury aspirations of the 300. Stay with the Touring or Touring L models if you’re looking for something that’s very comfortable.
Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG
The ratings for the 2024 Chrysler 300’s fuel economy are not yet available, and we have not yet determined the vehicle’s mpg in real-world driving conditions on the highway fuel economy route that we travel at 75 miles per hour as part of our exhaustive testing protocol.
When we compared the fuel efficiency of the 300 to that of its competitors, we discovered that it is not quite as good as its contemporaries. There are other rivals on the market that are more fuel efficient, such as the Nissan Maxima and the Volkswagen Arteon.
