Alongside Stellantis’ plan, the Chrysler EV Concept was shown in July. It serves as a preview of the brand’s impending competition for the Ford Mustang Mach-E and the Tesla Model Y.
Carlos Tavares, CEO of Stellantis, said on July 20th, 2021, at the 2021 Software Day that the Chrysler EV Concept, which was unveiled in July, was more than simply a concept.
This may imply that a production version is not too far off into the future, with Car and Driver claiming that a probable unveiling in 2024 is on the horizon. Since applications for trademarks in the United States were made in 2019 and 2021, it is not impossible for this model to bring back the Airflow moniker.

Chrysler’s Comeback Crossover
The overall profile of the outside of the 2024 Airflow interior buck has been carried over into the new 2022 concept in a manner that is substantially unaltered. It is a crossover with the design of a fastback, but it lacks the robustness of a Jeep.

When seen from behind, the roofline of the Airflow stretches backwards more like that of the Ford. This results in more space in the back seats and eliminates the vertically extended hatchback look of the Tesla.

This is due to the fact that both of Chrysler’s existing models compete in market areas that are declining. Unfortunately, Chrysler is only willing to commit that it will be available by the year 2025.
There are also other new models being introduced by Chrysler besides the Airflow. Feuell has high ambitions of ultimately expanding the brand to include anything from four to six electric-powered versions. While we wait for them, both the 300 and the Pacifica will continue to get improvements, although 2025 is still quite a ways off.
When that day comes, there will be a far larger number of EVs in a variety of forms. Will the long-promised rebirth take place before competitors like Tesla, Rivian, and Fisker seize a larger portion of the market, and if it does, will anybody still care about Chrysler at that point? The only way to know is to wait.
Chrysler Airflow Concept Technology
