2024 Nissan GTR: Will Nissan Make An R36 GT-R? The Next GT-R will draw its inspiration for its exterior design from flamboyant cars. However, the R35 is still around, despite the fact that it is becoming older and more expensive. The director of the GT-R program, Hiroshi Tamura, gives some suggestions as to where the next journey will be for the GT-R at the present.

However, a recent claim that was published on the Japanese automotive news website Best Car Web indicates that the R36 Nissan GT-R will be heading in a completely different route. They claim that it will be a monster battery electric vehicle (BEV) that utilizes a solid-state battery system with the “strongest AWD in the World.”
What came before the Nissan GT-R R36
The current generation of the GT-R is getting up there in age. The R35 was first unveiled by Nissan in 2007, which is a full 14 years ago. Even though Nissan has made a significant number of improvements to the vehicle over the years, the R35 is starting to show its age.
In point of fact, Nissan has already discontinued the R35 in Australia since it is no longer capable of meeting the requirements for safety that are in place in that country. The Chief Executive Officer of Nissan has said that the R36 may not need an electric powertrain in order to achieve the performance targets that have been set.
